I got a lot of firewood from my lovely neighbours today, so now I have this huge pile in my garage & a nice & toasty house. I take my hat off to him, that has worked a lifetime doing that…chopping down trees, tending to the woodland. Hard work...& think, he’s way over 80 & still does it with a smile. Then there’s her, gosh, her kindness radiates. I can’t even explain it, but she somehow teaches me gratitude on a whole different level - & grace. She reminds me that there’s a lot to be thankful for, it’s just a matter of perspective… Guess what I’m most thankful for at the moment is that this hollow space in my heart’s slowly being filled again…through kindness & the simple thing of being seen, & opening my own eyes to the little things in life - that actually is life itself. ~Linn. Ever since I saw the mutilated body of 11 year old Ebba Åkerlund in April , I've been angry. Angry at apologetic people & looneys with love signs & pussyhats. This isn't the 70s folks. Unless you make a poisonous concoction & feed it to the people killing our kids, there's no f**king flower power, ok? Source This Manchester attack made me go from angry to furious. I don't even know where to begin... This whole thing is unpalatable. Reading about how the shrapnel from the bomb had destroyed arteries, bones & nerves in the victims, leaving gaping holes... Not this time around. As Norwegians we met our own extremist with a sea of flowers & candlelight. I just got numb back then, all those young lives lost...it was just unfathomable. But now I'm just plain

Cause she got permission to do a great deal more than my grandmother ever did. ;) Anyway, she did get to travel a lot...& she took quite a few pictures when she was out 'n about. Claudia in the middle. This is supposed to be where she learned to sew. :) I love this picture. Haven't a clue where this is, but it's lovely! They knew how to have fun way back when too... ;) "Have no clue what we where doing here." -Claudia on climbing tree's on Jeløy. "Me with my tush up in the air." -Claudia. Out with the girls. This pic is just priceless. B ut I mentioned a couple of posts ago that she had this heartbreaking story. Gonna give you the short version... Well, if I remember correctly she was engaged, or was going to get engaged to this gentleman from
